A Lifetime of Creating by Hand
Welcome to Julie’s Handmade Crafts, where every piece is made with care, patience, and a love for creating things by hand.
Julie learned the value of handmade craftsmanship as a child. She was taught to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, and create useful and beautiful things with her hands. What began when she was young became a lifelong passion that she has continued for most of her life.
Today, at 72 years old, Julie still enjoys working with yarn, fabric, needles, thread, and her sewing machine to turn simple materials into something special.
Made With Care, Not Mass Produced
Julie’s creations are handmade one piece at a time. Because they are made by hand, each item has its own character and personal touch that you simply don’t get from something made in a factory.
Her creations include knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, kitchen textiles, and handmade gifts. Whether it’s something useful for your home, a special gift for someone you care about, or something made just for you, Julie takes pride in putting care into every piece.
Custom Orders Welcome
Have an idea in mind but don’t see exactly what you’re looking for?
Julie welcomes custom orders. If you have a particular color, size, style, or idea you’d like to discuss, contact Julie and she’ll be happy to talk with you about what can be made.
Because handmade work takes time, custom pieces are discussed individually so that expectations are clear before work begins.
Honest, Personal, and Handmade
Julie believes that buying handmade should be a personal experience. You should know who made your item, how it was made, and who you’re doing business with.
We want Julie’s Handmade Crafts to be a place where customers feel comfortable asking questions and confident in what they are purchasing. We believe in being honest about our products, our materials, our prices, and the time it takes to create each piece.
We’re not trying to be the biggest craft business. We’re simply sharing something Julie has loved doing for most of her life.
Thank you for visiting Julie’s Handmade Crafts and taking the time to learn a little about Julie and her work. We hope you’ll find something you love—or perhaps something that inspires an idea of your own.
